Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was an Austrian composer who began composing music at age five and was touring Europe performing for royalty by age six, growing up to become one of the greatest composers in history. He wrote more than 600 works, including symphonies, operas, and concertos, often composing at incredible speed and with playful, joyful energy. Even though he died young, at just 35, his music is still performed and loved around the world today.
