Steve Jobs

1955 – 2011

1900s-2000s USA · Inventor

Steve Jobs co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak in his parents' garage in 1976 and helped invent the personal computer, the iPhone, and the iPad. After being pushed out of Apple in 1985, he led the animation studio Pixar, which released Toy Story in 1995, the first entirely computer-animated feature film, before returning to Apple in 1997 to rebuild the struggling company into one of the most valuable in the world. He believed technology should be simple and beautiful enough for anyone to use. His famous advice was to "stay hungry, stay foolish" — always keep learning.
