Frédéric Chopin was a Polish-French composer and pianist known for his beautiful, emotionally rich piano music, including nocturnes, waltzes, and mazurkas inspired by Polish folk music. He was a brilliant performer known for delicate, expressive playing rather than loud showmanship. Though he lived a short life, often in poor health, his piano compositions remain some of the most beloved in classical music — and at his request, his heart was removed after death and returned to Warsaw, where it's still preserved inside a church pillar, while the rest of him is buried in Paris.
