F. Scott Fitzgerald
1896 – 1940
F. Scott Fitzgerald was an American novelist who captured the glittering parties and big dreams of 1920s America, a time he nicknamed the Jazz Age. His most famous novel, The Great Gatsby, tells the story of a mysterious millionaire and is now read in classrooms around the world. Though his books sold modestly during his lifetime, he is remembered today as one of the greatest American writers of the twentieth century.
